We visit, assess, check the register for TPOs and conservation area status. Written quote, usually same day.
If a TPO applies, we lodge a Section 211 notice or full TPO application with the council, with photos, drawings and justification.
Council tree officer inspects, sometimes consults neighbours, reaches a decision. Most applications for genuinely needed work get approved.
Decision in writing. We book the work at a time that suits you. Refused? We'll discuss alternatives at no charge.
Disease or significant decay. Honey fungus, ash dieback, or substantial decay in the main stem where pruning won't save it.
Structural failure risk. Already split, leaning over a building, or showing root plate failure.
Wrong tree, wrong place. A self seeded sycamore growing into a wall, a leylandii hedge gone feral, a 1970s tree that's now twice the size of the garden.
Reclaiming light and space. Sometimes you just want the garden back. We won't lecture you out of it.
